I'm brand new here and so far I like the site and especially the good atmosphere.
I have a collection of stereo or stereoscope cards that I would like to sell. However, I can't seem to find an appropriate category for them here. I searched through the existing categories and found quite a few but they seem to be scattered all over, mainly among the postcards (and I believe that stereo cards are something totally different), and I must admit that that search was quite a time consuming task. Maybe they deserve a special category somewhere, together with stereoscopes and other related items. What do you all think about this idea?

Hi Cille,
Welcome to Delcampe ! Sorry I didn't see your post until now ...
You are absolutely right about stereoscope cards. In order to give you and others new categories highly requested, I have worked out the following:
Note-cards and Precursors
Mechanical cards
Hold to light
Drawings
Advertisement Cards
Leporello (accordeon fold)
Silhouette (scissor-type) cards
Appliqués
Special formats and sizes
Stereoscope cards
3D cards
What do you, and our other members, think of these ? Could this be useful ?

Good ideas and thank you for the response, Christine.
"Hold to Light" is also a postcard term which might cause some slight confusion. I'm not that knowledgeable in a lot of ephemera--are there 'hold-to-light' items which are not postcards?
